By my senior year of highschool I had completed enough art prerequisites to take independent study classes. We had total freedom over our projects and subject matter as long as we got a certain number of pieces finished in the semester. I’ve always been into pop culture and was in a bigggg Tarantino / Uma Thurman phase at the time. This painting was born and gave me the confidence to really start to view myself as an artist and the excitement of choosing subjects that felt intertwined with parts of my identity and interests.
Some original paintings are available as canvas or paper prints upon request. While this original is no longer available, I'd love to create a custom piece inspired by it or we could dream up something totally new together!
